Well, with today being the last day of the month, A Month In The Life of Sienna and Serena is complete! This doesn't mean there won't be any new posts, just not everyday! TAP DANCING
Sienna had been asking consistently to take a tap dancing class, so when I found this summer program, I immediately signed her up. Today was the last day and while Sienna had fun while she was there, her reply when I asked her if she wanted to take it again was "No thanks, once is enough!"

ONE EXTREME TO THE NEXT.....
At the beginning of July it was so rainy we just prayed for some hot weather, now it's so hot we have to retreat to air conditioniong for some relief!!
Most days I can't get Serena to stay in any clothes...today she wanted to wear her princess dress, disney princess jean jacket with full hood and fancy shoes. Can you say HOT?!
Hence the title of this post.......

NASTY LITTLE CREATURES
Both the girls swell up so bad and have a tough time not scratching. It makes going outdoors not so fun.
Go away mosquitoes...your not welcome here!
* A little piece of trivia I heard for the first time last year, it is the female mosquitoes that bite for blood. It is their source of nutrients to produce eggs. Males feed on nectar and plant juices. So there you have it, a little fact for the day!

FINGER PAINTING
First it was mud pies, now today it's finger painting. Yes, these kids love to get dirty! Notice the lack of paint on Serena's paper, it was more fun to just smear it all over her hands! Ick!

MOVIE TIME

CALGARY TRANSIT
We have become very efficient at taking Calgary Transit in the last week. The only problem is knowing the schedule to prevent standing in the rain for 20 minutes!! You never know what kind of 'wildlife' you may see either!!

DOG DAYS OF SUMMER

SLEEPOVER
This may be hard for some to believe but besides the night Serena was born, Sienna has never had a sleepover anywhere without me being there!
Well, tonight is the big night. She is staying with Grandma and Grandpa in their trailer "camping"! Cousins Talyn and Tory are there as well so it's going to be a full house.
When I went to drop her off she kept asking when I was leaving. She couldn't wait to get rid of me!
Now I sit here wondering what she's doing, is she behaving, but most importantly...is she thinking of me as much as I'm thinking of her!!
(probably not)!
I know she will have a great time but I am looking forward to seeing her tomorrow!
Update: The sleepover went great! Unbelievably, Sienna and her cousins stayed up until 11:30 to watch the fireworks (at the Stampede)! Needless to say, she was a
