CUDDLING

Here's what I saw as I came around the corner the other morning, the girls snuggling on the couch together watching a kids show.

FRIENDS

Having a friend that you've known "forever" is a special gift. Sienna has just a friend like that in Eden. They truly are girls...kooky, crazy and a whole lot of fun!

COOKIE MONSTER

Seriously, how many cookies does a kid need.....she claims them by taking a bite out of each one!

GIFTS FROM CHINA

Thank you to Grammie and Grampie for the lovely silk pajamas all the way from China! We love them!

HALLOWEEN

Sienna's class had a Halloween party on Thursday. They decorated cookies and had juice and treats. There were several cute costumes, Sienna was a butterfly.


How do you change a butterfly into a witch....cast a spell, remove some wings and add a hat! Magic!

Serena was a little chicken! She had so much fun trick or treating and was really starting to get the hang of it by the end.... "you mean all I have to do is go to someone's door, yell something and then they put a treat in my bag, I could really get used to this!"

Update

Sienna loved Dora, she said, "Oh cool mom, maybe now we could try Boots!" For any of you that don't know, that's Dora's best friend, a monkey! I think we'll save that one for next year!!

PUMPKIN CARVING

This was our first experience carving a pumpkin and found it to be quite interesting. Sienna wasn't too sure about putting her hand in and pulling out some "pumpkin guts". She let me do most of the work. Here is our kitty creation which both girls were excited about. Serena calls it a "mow" (meow)! After they went to bed tonight, I carved "Dora". Can't wait to see their reaction in the morning!

NAUGHTY ONE

Don't turn your back for two minutes with an 18 month old in the house. You never know what's going to happen. First Serena was trying her hand at applying mascara, then she was "washing" her hair with hand cream. All doors are shut from now on!

DOCTOR DOCTOR

Dr. Sienna was practising her skills on a little patient today. Checking her heart and her reflexes! Everything looks good!

ELTON JOHN WANNA BE

THE WIGGLES!

Sienna loves the Wiggles so when I heard they were coming to town I got tickets without telling her.

Yesterday was the big day and she didnt know where her and dad were going until they arrived at the venue. She was very excited to say the least!

Brent took some roses for Sienna to give to her favorite character Dorothy the Dinosaur. She was thrilled when Dorothy acknowledged her. They had excellent seats in the third row so there was lots of room for dancing in the aisle!

PRESCHOOL!

Today was a very special day for Sienna, it was her first day of Preschool!

She was so excited and walked hand in hand with a new friend into their classroom!

After I picked her up, I asked if she learned anything and she said "Bonjour".

Once we got home she said, "Preschool was so fun, you couldn't even believe it!"

DANCE CAMP

Sienna and Eden had dance camp this week for 2 hours each morning. At their last class they had a presentation for the parents, it was very cute and they were so excited!

We had lunch on the Earls patio with Auntie Erica today! Great food and even better company!

SUMMER HOLIDAYS

We had another great holiday in Kelowna.

The kids had lots of fun together and are really starting to play well together.

Sienna did a half-day art camp the second week and loved it. She came home everyday with a new creation!

CHANGING COLORS

The big black eye has gone through many color changes in the last few days and is now yellow. Add to the list of facial abrasions a scuff to the forehead and nose. This kid is a walking accident!
